Our History
The history of BTI College dates to October 2002. The founders of BTI College started the makeshift computer, typing, and graphics design training from their Hostel room at the University.
In July 2006, the College was formerly registered under TJ Computer College and commenced ICT courses in Sotik Town, Kenya. In 2015, the College transformed into Tijara Consultancy, whose mandate was to provide quality training and consultancy services.
For the next six years, Tijara offered training and consultancy services targeting corporates, Saccos, and Microfinance Institutions.
The growing demand for technical, academic, and professional training gave rise to the Buruuj Training Institute (BTI), which admitted pioneer students in 2021. Consequently, Tijara Consultancy was renamed BTI College Consultancy.
