Today marked the completion of data collection by the BTI College research team for a feasibility study on an Islamic cash advance product intended for rollout by a Kenyan digital financial solution company with US roots.

The comprehensive study, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The research covered areas in Nairobi (Eastleigh, South C, and Kibera) and Mombasa.

During the final meeting held in Kibera, Nairobi, BTI College Executive Director Najma Shariff, who participated in data collection in Kibera, conveyed her thanks to the entire team for their hard work and commitment to gathering accurate and valuable data pertaining to the Islamic cash advance product.

She stressed the high value placed on their contributions and the anticipation of the insights gained regarding the product’s feasibility. Shariff also recognized the excellent coordination of the team leaders.
